Writing Contest
For the 2007 - 2008 school year, The Writing Conference, Inc., sponsors
writing contests in poetry, narration, and exposition for
elementary, junior high/middle school and high school
students. Winners in each category receive a
plaque, an invitation to have their writing published in The Writers' Slate, an
on-line journal published by The
Writing Conference, Inc., and an invitation for them to be guests at the evening
Reception and Celebration of Writing.

Winners of the
writing contests will be guests at a Reception in their honor in the spring
at
the Kansas Burge Union (University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS).
